Internet is becoming basic necessity for everyone. People love to connect to internet everytime especially while travelling. It is difficult to get Wi-Fi facility always, mostly in rural areas. The problem got solved with invention of Dongle.

The dongle is a communication device that picks up the same broadcasted Internet signal used by mobiles. USB sticks / Dongles are very helpful in such situations but what about their sim support ? Usually, we have dongles locked for particular network supports.

How to unlock USB Stick / Dongle ?

Today, we will discuss various methods to unlock the stuff. It can be done using some III-party tools or without using unlockers.

Using Unlockers

  2. You can check your device option in LOG LISTS.

Unlocking Huawei USB devices

• 1. You need IMEI number of your USB modem, usually printed on modem.
  2. Download the given software and unzip.
  3. Download Huawei usb modem and modem unlocker : 
  Just enter your IMEI number, to unlock the device.
  4. Download Huawei Modem Code Writer : 
  It will automatically detect your USB modem. You just need to press Unlock button to unlock.

Unlocking without using software

• 1. Place your sim inside the modem and attach it with PC.
  2. You will see INVALID SIM message, just ignore that message and Open the Nokia PC suite.
  3. Move to CONFIGURE option. Select your data card modem, and make operator APN settings same as that with Nokia Mobile connection.
  4. Finish the set up and Click CONNECT TO INTERNET option in PC suite.
