T-20 fever is on. After MCL 2016 we have yet another schedule for you. The International Cricket Council (ICC) on Friday, 11/12/2015 released the schedule of the 2016 Twenty20 World Cup, to be held in India. India will be hosting the event for first time from 11 march 2016 to 3 April 2016. The ICC T20 Championship is an int’l Twenty20 cricket competition run by the ICC. Till date, there has been five editions of ICC T-20 Cricket World Cup, inaugural being hosted by South Africa, where arch-rivals India and Pakistan entered finals. India winning the final in last over thriller.

The second edition organized in England, the 2009 ICC World Twenty20 from 5–21 June 2009. Pakistan, the previous runners-up defeated Sri Lanka by 8 wickets to lift the Cup. The third tournament, held from 30 April–16 May 2010 in West Indies. The winners were England who defeated Australia by 7 wickets. The fourth edition held from 18 September to 7 October 2012 in Sri Lanka. The winners were West Indies who defeated Sri Lanka by 36 runs. In 2014, Sri Lanka beaten India to lift the cup for first time.

ICC T-20 World Cup 2016

The 2016 ICC World Twenty20 will be the sixth ICC World Twenty20 competitionT-20 World Cup edition. This time the tournament is scheduled to take place in India from 11 March to 3 April 2016. It will be played in eight cities – Bangalore, Chennai, Dharamshala, Kolkata, Mohali, Mumbai, Nagpur, New Delhi.
It will be third consecutive time that an Asian country will host this event, as Sri Lanka and Bangladesh hosted the previous tournament in 2012 and 2014 respectively. Total number of matches are 35. The next T-20 World Cup will most probably be hosted by India.

World T20 v 's Warm Up Schedule

India will play South Africa & West Indies in their 2 warm up matches ahead of the ICC World T20 next month. India plays WI on March 10th at Eden Gardens in Kolkata. The 2nd practice match against SA will be held at Wankhede in Mumbai on March 12th. Teams taking part in the 1st round of the tournament will play their warm up matches at Dharamshala & Mohali between Mar 3rd & 6th. The teams playing the 2nd round will play their warm ups at Kolkata & Mumbai.

Asia Cup History and Future 


Asia Cup Tournament is going to held in February 2014. The ACC Asia Cup is an international men’s ODI cricket tournament. It was established in 1983 when the ACC in order to promote goodwill between Asian countries. It was originally scheduled to be held every two years. The first tournament was held in 1984 in Sharjah in the UAE where the council’s offices were based [until 1995]. The ICC has ruled that all games played for the Asia Cup have official One Day International status.

Asia Cup 2016 will be played in T20 format keeping T20 world cup 2016 into account. This tournament is shifting from ODI Format to T20 format for the first time since 1984. Sri Lanka is the defending champions. They won 2014 Asia cup against Pakistan by 5 wickets in Bangladesh. Again 2018 Asia cup will be reverted back to ODI format to prepare for 2019 Cricket World Cup. For 2020 T20 World Cup, this will again switch back to T20 format. Asia cup T20 2016 is to be played in Bangladesh. Asia cup 2016 is starting on February 24, 2016 and the Final match will be played on March 6, 2016.

 
In 2016, Asia Cup There will be 4 confirmed full test teams (Pakistan, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh) plus one associate team from the four Asian teams who already have T20 status (Afghanistan, UAE, Oman and Hong Kong). The four-team Asia Cup T20 Qualifier will be held in Bangladesh from February 19 to 22th February. Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Oman and UAE will play each other to decide the one Associate who will advance to the main draw involving the region's four Full Member teams.

Asia Cup T-20 2016


Bangladesh will face off against India in the opening match of Asia Cup Twenty20 2016 on February 24, while India will take on Pakistan on February 27, as per the schedule announced on Wednesday (January 27). The Asia Cup, which is being played for the first time in the 20-over format, also features Sri Lanka along with the team that comes out on top in the qualifiers. Afghanistan, Hong Kong, Oman and United Arab Emirates will take on each other in the qualifying stage and the topper will proceed to the next stage. 

India and Pakistan will face each other at least twice in a T20I between February and April. They take on each other in the first stage of the Asia Cup and will also clash in the group stage in the T20 WC 2016 on March 19. There may also be additional India-Pakistan clashes in the upcoming months in case these two sides qualify for the final of Asia Cup, while there is also the possibility of India and Pakistan facing in the knock-out stage of T20 WC.

Asia Cup Fact File

  1. India has won the tournament the most times [5].
  2.  India appeared in every Cup except in 1986 when India pulled out due to strained cricketing relations with Sri Lanka and in 1993 when it was cancelled due to strained political relations between India and Pakistan. 
  3. The ACC have announced that the tournament will be held biennially from 2008 onwards
  4. Sri Lanka is the current champion after beating Pakistan in the final of 2014 Asia Cup. 
  5. Asia Cup will be played regularly every two years from now on.
  6. In the Twenty20 World Cup year, Asia Cup will feature T20 competition and 2016 Asia Cup will be the first T20 event. 
  7. Asia Cup 2016 will take place February or March before the T20 world cup in India. 
  8. More associate teams will be included in the T20 competition.
  9. While in the year of 50 Over World Cup, Asia cup will be a one day tournament played before the world cup for example Asia Cup 2018 will be 50 over competition to be played before the 2019 world cup in India.
  10. While 2020 Asia Cup will again return to T20 format.

Big Bash League 2016 [5th Season] 


The 2015–16 Big Bash League season or BBL|05 will be the fifth season of the Big Bash League [BBL], the premier Twenty20bcricket competition in Australia. The tournament will run from 17 December 2015 to 24 January 2016. The format of the tournament is identical to previous seasons. Each team will play 8 group stage matches, four at home and four away, before the top 4 ranked teams progress to the Semi Finals. The Final of the tournament will be played at the home ground of the highest-ranked team. The Perth Scorchers are the reigning champions and will be seeking a third successive BBL title

The January 2 match between Perth Scorchers and Sydney Sixers at The Furnace will see the clubs  wearing Batman and Superman playing gears instead of their original gears as a part of BBL's new partnership with Warner Bros. Pictures.

The first edition is to be played from 28th January to 14th February 2016.

About MCL

The league is going to be played in January 2016 in UAE which is fully approved by Emirates Cricket Board and endorsed by the Federatrion of Int'l Cricketers' Association [FICA]. Zafar Shah, a cricket enthusiast and enterpreneur from UAE came up with an idea of league of international retirees. It is proposed to be played in three int'l stadiums of UAE viz. Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sheikh Zayed Cricket Stadium Abu Dhabi, Dubai Int'l Cricket Stadium. Governing body includes legends like Allan Border, Graham Gooch, Zafar Shah [Chairman], Abdul rahman Falaknaz [President], Zara Shah [CEO], Amin Farooq [Joint Secretary], Sam Khan [Director], Ghazi Al Madani [Member].

MCL League Format

We have 6 teams named after 6 sunshines i.e. Leo, Libra, Virgo, Capricorn, Gemini, Sagittarius, each team accomodating maximum of 15 players, auctioned from the pool of 250 players. Six teams will play against each other in round robin format, i.e. each team playing maximum of 5 matches. The total adding upto 18 matches.  The top four team with highest points will qualify for semi-finals. Each team have two marquee players namely :

[Schedule] Champions Tennis League 2015 | CTL Season 2

Today, we are sharing with you the schedule of second season of Champions Tennis League [CTL] which will be played for next two weeks starting 23rd November 2015. The final match is going to be played on 6th December5 2015 at Hyderabad, which is entering this tournament for 1st time with team name Hyderabad Aces. The first edition of CTL was played from 178 to 26 December 2014, which was won by Pune Marathas beating Delhi Dreamers in final by 27-23.


History of CTL

CTL is privately operated league by Vijay Amritraj's Sports Management company Second Serve Pvt. Ltd. In 2014, tournament was played for 10 days among 6 teams viz. Mumbai Tennis masters, Delhi Dreamers, Pune Marathas, Bangalore Raptors, Punjab Marshalls and Chennai Warriors. Marcos Baghdatis of Pune Marathas was the winner of Robert Amritraj Award 2014. This time Delhi, Pune, bangalore teams will be replaced Nagpur, Raipur, Hyderabad.

About CTL 2015

Teams are divided into two zones viz. A : Mumabi, Punjab, Raipur and B : Hyderabad, Nagpur, Chennai. Matches will be played between every team in zone at home and away basis i.e. total of 6 matches per zone. Top teams from both groups will face each other in finals. The player draft was conducted without auction from pool of 24 players. Winner will get prize amount of Rs. 1Cr. and runner-up will take home the amount of Rs. 50 lakh. The 2 weeks long [13 matches] tournament will be aired live on Sony SIX HD and Sony KIX in Indian sub-continent and in USA, live telecast by The Tennis Channel.

[PDF] 50 Basic Health and Kitchen Tips - Part 2

Today, we are back with more kitchen tips : part 2. Click here for Part 1. Sometimes, we are not aware of very small things around us, can serve us in a better and cheap way. You know all of those helpful kitchen-related suggestions that old-timers are so willing to share with the younger generations ? These little tips and tricks might be called kitchen hacks these days, but they are still the same good old nuggets of wisdom that they always were. Some of these gems have been around for several lifetimes - and according to most grandmas, they really work. Check out this exhaustive list of tips.



  1. To remove smell of spices from mixer grinder, put small quantity of wheat flour in it and run it empty for 5 minutes.
  2. To increase the life of toasters, remove pieces of bread etc. that gets stuck in toaster. Remove the bottom tray from toaster and clean it properly.
  3. Apply mixture of equal amount of honey and cardamom powder [Elaichi], to skin infections and rashes. It gives instant relief.
  4. For stomach pain, take small amount of Cumin [Jeera], fry it properly, now add 4 cups of water and keep it boiling till half of the stuff remain behind. Now drink this juice.
  5. To remove dark circles from face, crush some leaves of Mahogany [Neem]. Apply this paste on face overnight and wash face in morning with cold water. Results are visible in a week's time.
  6. To clean the glass windows, make a mixture of 1/4th part of alcohol in 1/3rd part of vinegar [Sirka] in cup.
  7. To remove bad smell from thermos flask, put warm water in it and add 3 teaspoonful of vinegar in it. Keep it for some time and then wash it with cold water.
  8. Got dark oil spots on tie ? Sprinkle talcum powder on it and brush it off after few hours. Powder tends to absorb oil easily.
  9. To clean up steel utensils, use mixture of vinegar and onion juice.
  10. If you are cooking vegetable in microwave, try cutting the vegetable into same size pieces; as uneven sized pieces tend to cook unevenly, viz. small pieces get burnt and large pieces remain uncooked.
  11. To clean the burner of a gas stove, keep the burner in ammonia mixed water for atleast 20 minutes. Afterwards wash it off with normal water.
  12. If you are a chain-smoker and looking for quitting the habit of smoking, then keep small pieces of cinnamon [Dal-cheeni] tree in pockets, whenever you feels like smoking. Chew a piece of cinnamon slowly.
  13. Strip off the skin of handful of almonds [Badam], grind it in mixer. Now add 50-60ml of milk in it and keep it in a bottle. Apply it on skin 3 times a day to remove dark spots.
  14. Cut small chunks of Bitter-gourd [Karela] and apply it on pimples. It tends to sooth skin immediately.
  15. Use clove [Laung] oil as mosquito killer. Take one part of clove oil and ten parts of water in spray bottle. Use this spray every 2-3 hours.
  16. Scroll off the cucumber [Kheera] in a wet towel before keeping it in a fridge. It remains fresh for long time.
  17. Feeling like a headache ? Drink cumin [Jeera] mixed tea cor relief.
  18. To remove all types of make-ups from face, use baby oil or any oil base cream. It works fine on face.
  19. Always apply perfume on plus points of body i.e. on pulse areas viz. wrists of hand, backside of ears, amidst of neck, in both elbows; effect of perfume remains for more time on body.
  20. To  burn off fat from your body, use more and more vitamin C rich products.
  21. To clean up the mixer blender, put hot water in container mixed with liquid detergent. Now blend it for 30 seconds ans see the results.
  22. To wash up the oil marks from floor, use utensils detergent. Mix detergent in hot water and put it on spots and afterwards wash it with normal hot water.
  23. In glass flower pots, put some water and add pinch of bleaching powder in it, pot flower will shine in few minutes.
  24. Before applying hair dye, must apply petroleum jelly on forehead, in order to protect it from black spots of dye.
  25. If your pet dog is habitual of taking bites on household furniture, use eucalyptus [Nilgiri] or Clove [Laung] oil on  that part of furniture. It will help you surely.

     
  1. Sometimes water leakage from taps in bathroom tends to leave brown spots on tiles. To get rid of this, use mixture of salt and vinegar on it. Use same trick to remove whiteness from  rubber bucket, mug etc.
  2. While cooking rice, put few drops of lemon juice in it, it will give pure white coloration to rice. Put a teaspoon of ghee or oil, it will prevent sticking of rice.
  3. Use empty chocolate box, to keep your ear-rings in good shape.
  4. Keep onions stored in dry and dark place, it will increase their life. Humidity is not good for onions.
  5. Never throw out, used up tea leaves, instead wait for them to get dried at one place. Now, burn them, it will act as mosquito repellent.
  6. Boil 10 neem leaves with dried peels of orange in water. Now make a paste of it, with honey, curd, and soya milk. Apply this paste 3 times a week on face. It will kill pimples, whiteheads, blackheads and diminish pores on face too.
  7. To remove wine or coffee spots from teeth, use mixture of baking soda and strawberry.
  8. Never ever use mobile phone near microwave, the waves from mobile interfere with waves from magnetron, it may prove disastrous.
  9. To make tomato ketch-up more tastier add 1 teaspoon mint juice in it.
  10. After peeling of potatoes, they tends to turn blackish, to prevent the change of colour, soak them in water mixed with vinegar or lemon juice.
  11. Have itching in head ? Use papaya pack or fenugreek seeds pack. Take carrot and spinach in your diet more and more.
  12. If you have curly hair, never use hair dye on it. You will end up loosing your curls, instead use a Fuller's earth [Multani mitti].
  13. If possible, drink carrot juice 20 minutes before lunch, it is a great appetizer and very helpful in keeping digestive system in proper shape. [appetizer : a small dish of food or a drink taken before a meal or the main course of a meal to stimulate one's appetite]
  14. If you want to get rid of oily skin, put few drops of cucumber [Kheera] in lemon juice. Keep it for 15 minutes, then wash it with cold water. You will get the desired results within a week.
  15. For oily skin, you can also apply mixture of rose-water, lemon juice and Gram flour, also known as garbanzo bean flour, chickpea flour [Besan]. Wash it on getting dried.
  16. Women with thick lips should avoid applying lip gloss, otherwise it will add to the thickness of lips.
  17. In order to lighten the shade of dark colour lipsticks, pink or peach shades can be used.
  18. To get relief from jaundice [Peelia], drink spinach leave juice mixed with small amount of sugar in it.
  19. Bacteria present in milk curd is helpful in fighting jaundice.
  20. Boil down the neem leaves in water, now add honey in it. Apply this paste in hairs, it will reduce dandruff and give silky look to hairs.
  21. If you don't have after shave gel, apply aloe-vera gel as an alternative, wash your face after 10-15 minutes.
  22. After boiling potatoes, peel them off, now rub that potato skin on your face, it will definitely reduce the pimples.
  23. Chew 4-5 leaves of holy basil [Tulsi] everyday in morning and evening, it will counteract against mouth ulcer and also kills bad smell of mouth.
  24. To get rid of headache, close down your left nostril by finger and respire with the right one, if feeling tired, change the process between both nostrils.
  25. Fed up of loose motion ? try cinnamon [Dal-cheeni], it lowers down the water level in intestines. Take teaspoon of cinnamon powder in a cup of water, boil it and engulf after 10 minutes.
