[Tutorial] Making Amendments in Voter Card Online | Voter Card Corrections in 4 Steps

Today, we are here for another useful tutorial for you i.e. how can you amend your Voter Card mistakes online at home by submitting your request on Election Commission website. For this, you only need to have your name in the voter list. If you don't have you rname in the voter list then  you cannot make the you r desired corrections. You can not make corrections to any other person's voter card.

• First of all, go to Election Commission Website. For making corrections, click on the "Voter Roll" icon. Now, you will get a webpage on your screen. Here you have to click on "Form 8". After clicking this, you will get new webpage, where you have tro fill-in all your information. Triple check your entries, to see if any mistake still persists.

• Keep your Voter ID card with yourself, so that you are aware of what mistake(s) you want to amend in your Voter card. You can upload or change your photograph too, see next step.

• You can change your photograph on voter card easily, if it is blurred, or not in proper format. Make sure that new photograph you are uploading is having white background, you cannot upload any other photograph having colourful background otherwise it will be rejected by election commission.

• At times, election commission keeps on updating all the voter lists. So, you will get your updated voter ID card whenever the corrections, made by you got accepted by the commission prior to the next elections in your state or constituency.
