Winamp will be no more available to download after 20 December, 2013. On November 20, 2013, AOL announced that Winamp.com would shut down on December 20, 2013, and the software would no longer be available for download afterwards but on November 22, 2013 it is heard that Microsoft possibly keep it alive but time will tell the truth. Today we are offering tribute to famous Music Player. In this post we are giving you PDF list of Shortcuts and some plugin guides also. It is not clear exactly why this famous media player is closing, as no official statements was given but possibly because it’s no longer popular enough to sustain. The app was released for Android in 2011. The app has survived essentially on life support for years although those involved didn’t feel it was quite dead just yet.

Winamp History
Winamp is a media player created by Justin Frankel and Dmitry Boldyrev, the first version of the media player hit the web on April 21, 1997. It was first released in 1997, developed under NullSoft. It is acquired by the AOL Inc. company in June 1999. The program is capable of playing different kinds of file formats including FLAC, WAV, WMA, MIDI, MP3. It is the skin-able, customizable MP3 player that "really whips the llama's ass." In the late 1990s, every music lover had a copy of it, llama-whipping had gone global in very less time, and soon AOL acquired the company for $80-$100 million.Running Winamp in Safe mode on Windows
Sometimes there is an issue with plugins installed. For this, Nullsoft has added ‘Safe Mode’ option which allows user to start it without any plugins. You can find this option in Winmap interface Options > Preferences(Ctrl+P) > Plugins.- 1. Winamp’s Safe Mode prevents the loading of 3rd party plug-ins including all detected visualization and DSP plug-ins as well as Language packs. To run it in Safe Mode, you need to click on ‘Restart in Safe Mode’ button on right-side of Plugins in Preferences dialog window.
- 2. To run Winamp in Full Mode when running in Safe Mode, click on ‘Restart in Full Mode’ button.
