Examination Fees

Fees can be paid via Challan in SBI Bank [Offline] or Online

• For all General candidates Rs.500/- [Rs. 400/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges on appearing in CBT.] 
• For candidates belonging to SC/ST/Ex-serviceman/Female/Minorities/Economically backward class Rs. 250/- [Rs. 250/- shall be refunded duly deducting bank charges on appearing in CBT.]

Selection Procedure

Selection procedure is detailed below in Official Notication of RPF. There will be Computer based exam and Physical Test for both Constables and SI Posts

1. Computer based test consisting of 120 Questions [1:30 hours i.e. 90 minutes], 50 Questions of GK, 35 Questions on Maths and 35 Questions on Reasoning
2.  Physical Efficiency Test includes : 1600m race [Males] or 800m race [Females], Long Jump and High Jump

Punjab Police published recruitment notice for the much awaited 7416 vacancies of sepoys in 2016. This recruitment is going to happen all-over India. There are as many as 5.5 lakh vacancies throughout India. The recruitment will be open for male and female candidates.

Selection Process

ਚਾਹਵਾਨ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਲਈ ਹੇਠ ਲਿਖੀ ਕਾਰਵਾਈ ਜਾਣਨੀ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਹੈ-

1. Race and Medical Test [Physical Measurement Test (PMT) and the Physical Screening Test (PST)] : ਮੈਡੀਕਲ ਟੈਸਟ, ਸਰੀਰਿਕ ਮਾਪ 
2. Other Physical Tests : ਕਾਰਜਕੁਸ਼ਲਾ ਜਾਣਨ ਲਈ ਸਰੀਰਿਕ ਯੋਗਤਾ ਟੈਸਟ

Post-wise Qualifications

For the post of Sepoy, the candidate need to be 12th passed from recognized board or University and age for same should be in between 18 to 28 [both figured included] and the candidate must have passed Matriculation exam with Punjabi as one of the compulsory or elective subjects or any other equivalent examination in Punjabi language.

• ਸਿਪਾਹੀ ਦੀ ਪੋਸਟ ਲਈ ਉਮਰ 18 ਤੋਂ 28 ਸਾਲ ਦੇ ਵਿਚਕਾਰ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਵਿੱਦਿਅਕ ਯੋਗਤਾ 12ਵੀਂ ਪਾਸ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।

ਐਪਲੀਕੇਸ਼ਨ ਫਾਰਮ ਆਨ-ਲਾਈਨ ਮੌਜੂਦ ਹੋਣਗੇ। ਚਾਹਵਾਨ ਉਮੀਦਾਵਰ ਹੇਠ ਲਿਖੇ ਤਰੀਕੇ ਨਾਲ ਆਨ-ਲਾਈਨ ਅਪਲਾਈ ਕਰ ਸਕਦੇ ਹਨ :

- ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਦੀ ਤਾਜ਼ੀ ਖਿੱਚੀ ਫੋਟੋ ਸਕੈਨ ਕਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਹਸਤਾਖ਼ਰ ਦੀ ਸਕੈਨ ਫੋਟੋ ਕਾਪੀ ਜੇ.ਪੀ.ਜੀ/ਜੇ.ਪੀ.ਈ.ਜੀ ਫਾਰਮੈੱਟ 'ਚ ਹੋਣੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
- ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਨੂੰ ਫਾਰਮ ਦੇ ਬਾਰੇ ਸਾਰੀਆਂ ਲੋੜਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਭਰਨਾ ਚਾਹੀਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਉਮਰ ਹੱਦ, ਨਾਂ, ਮਾਤਾ-ਪਿਤਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਂ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਟੀਫੀਕੇਟਾਂ ਦੇ ਅਨੁਸਾਰ ਜ਼ਰੂਰੀ ਜਾਣਕਾਰੀ ਭਰਨੀ ਚਾਹੀਦੀ ਹੈ।
- ਫਾਰਮ ਭਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਰਜਿਸਟ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਨੰਬਰ ਨੋਟ ਕਰ ਲਵੇ ਅਤੇ ਈ-ਚਲਾਨ ਫਾਰਮ 'ਤੇ ਕਲਿਕ ਕਰੇ ਅਤੇ ਈ-ਚਲਾਨ ਫਾਰਮ ਨੂੰ ਪ੍ਰਿੰਟ ਕਰ ਲਵੇ। ਰਜਿਸਟ੍ਰੇਸ਼ਨ ਹੋਣ ਤੋਂ 48 ਘੰਟਿਆਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਆਪਣੀ ਫੀਸ ਜਮ੍ਹਾ ਕਰਾ ਦਿਓ। HDFC ਬੈਂਕ ਇਕ ਉਮੀਦਵਾਰ ਕਾਪੀ ਅਤੇ ਇਕ ਨੰਬਰ ਦੇਵੇਗਾ ਜਿਸ ਨਾਲ ਤੁਹਾਨੂੰ ਅੰਤਿਮ ਜਮ੍ਹਾ ਕਰਾਉਣ 'ਚ ਮਦਦ ਮਿਲੇਗੀ।

• Candidates can apply only via Online mode. There will be a Common Application Form (CAF) for both the District Police Cadre and the Armed Police Cadre. The Application Form shall only be available online on the website, www.punjabpolicerecruitment.in from 31.05.2016 (09:00 a.m.) to 21.06.2016 (upto 11:59 p.m.).
• Candidates must carry their scanned copy of Photograph and signature [JPG/JPEG Format].
• Candidates must keep their documents with them while filling application online to keep application free from mistake/s.
• After filling form online, candidate must take print out of e-Challan to fill the required fees and keep the Registration no. noted with himself. There must be a gap of atleast 48 hrs. between registration and filling up of fees. Don't forget to take your journal number from HDFC bank.

Through Saanjh Kendar

• The candidates should go to website www.punjabpolicerecruitment.in to fill the Common Application Form. After filling the First Page (Registration Page) of the Common Application Form, a unique Registration ID and Password will be generated. Once the unique Registration ID is generated, the candidate shall be required to deposit the fees.
• For depositing the fees, the candidate would have an option of either depositing the same online through (i) Net Banking (ii) Credit/Debit card payment or (iii) the candidate can deposit the fees offline manually by taking the print-out of the Fee Challan Form, which will be available online once the unique Registration ID is generated.
• To deposit the fee manually, the candidate should visit any HDFC Bank branch with the Fee Challan Form and deposit the same in cash at the HDFC Bank counter. In addition, the candidate can also deposit the fee in cash at the Police SAANJH Kendras with the Fee Challan Form.
